Becky Braunstein grew up on a mountain in Alaska. Like, a MOUNTAIN. You know the high altitude cooking directions on the back of the box? That was her. She skied down to America in 2010, and has been keeping Portland weirdly enamored ever since. A finalist for Best Comedian in the Willamette Week’s 2016 Best of Portland, and one of Helium Comedy Club’s 2015 Best of Portland, she hosts at Harvey’s Comedy Club and has performed at Pickathon and the Hudson Valley Comedy Festival. This year Becky performs at the 2016 Big Sky Comedy Festival, All Jane Comedy Festival & the NW Women’s Comedy Festival. Becky is a 3-time semifinalist in the Portland’s Funniest Person competition at Helium Comedy Club, and as a cancer survivor herself, hosts the annual ‘Notes of Hope’ benefit event, which raises money for programs supporting young people with cancer. Becky studied for one term at the same acting school as Liam Neeson, and has a specific set of skills – which include illustrating #FatAnimals, being able to lip-sync the entirety of ‘Pehla Nasha’ from the 1992 hit Bollywood film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, and demolitions.

Alyssa Yeoman has been described as sassy, charming and sometimes unsettling. Come fall into a fit of laughter with her quick wit and sultry voice. Alyssa is a producer of The Send Up, creator of Alyssa Explains It All. She has performed in Seattle’s HIGHlarious Comedy Festival as well as Portland’s Midnight Mass and Minority Retort. When Alyssa is not bringing fleeting moments of glee to detached millennials, she’s hanging with dog named Wolfgang; he helps her re-evaluate every choice she’s made in the last 5 years.

This show is part of the 2016 Siren Nation Festival!
